Wanting to explore the ides of Cozy Escapism, I took inspiration from Issey Miyake and his use of textile manipulation. Using exposed seaming and weaving in my final design, I wanted to challenge the traditional form of cozy knitwear and create somthing unconventional.
A deconstructed look that features a cropped, exaggerated long sleeve knit shrug with a turtle neck. Layered underneath is loosely woven top with an elastic band to keep it up. It is paired with a low rise double layered mini skirt. The full piece features exposed seaming and lace trim.
