8 Tailored Jacket - ** Tailored Pants

Inspired by Gladys Bently’s Bold self-expression during the harlem renaissance and the exaggerated proportions of the zoot suit, this sculpyural tailored
Garment celebrates the identity, resilience, and empowerment of queer African Americn women.

Through unconventional silhouettes and reimagined suiting, the design challenges traditional gender expectations while exploring clothing as a form of cultural pride,
Resistance, and self-expression. By connecting the history of Black queer fashion with contemporary design, the garment honors those who challenged societal norms,
and encouages queer women to embrace their identities and occupy space unapologeticallly.
